At Grand Island Needleworks, we can prepare binding strips and attach them to your quilt professionally. Please note that all binding work is done by machine. Specifically, we do not sew bindings to the back by hand. When we sew the binding to the back, we will "stitch in the binding ditch" from the front, creating a visible line of stitching on the binding on the back. We attach binding to the front of the quilt with mitered corners for $0.30 per linear inch or completely sew the binding to the front and back for $0.50 per linear inch. If you want us to prepare and attach your binding, add that to the booking form, and we will calculate how much fabric you need to send to us to create the binding.
